The Thrive to Survive Guide -University Students guide to health and wellbeing
Starting university is an exciting experience, but it can also bring its own unique challenges. It's natural to feel nervous or overwhelmed during the first few weeks at university, and it can be a while before you feel like you've found your feet.
The Thrive & Survive Guide has been created to help you adjust to university life: providing ideas, information and advice on things you might need to know to support your wellbeing. It has been developed with young people so that it covers all the important areas. It is here to provide a single source that you can reach for when you need that information or could use some tips.

The 23rd of March is a day to reflect, grieve and remember
The Healthy Hub is supporting a national day to remember those who have died during the pandemic, and to show support for everyone who has been bereaved.Spearheaded by end of life charity Marie Curie. The day is set to take place on Tuesday 23 March, the anniversary of the UK going into the first national lockdown and is committed to supporting the National Day of Reflection, alongside a host of organisations, MPs, and celebrities who are backing the day.
Marie Curie estimates that over three million people have been bereaved since the pandemic began, yet many have been unable to properly say goodbye to loved ones or grieve.
The National Day of Reflection will give the nation and communities a moment to remember, grieve and celebrate everyone who has died during this time and show support for our families, friends and colleagues who are grieving.
Self-isolation support day a big success!
Many thanks to our environmental health, street wardens and private sector housing teams who visited over 100 doorsteps in Welwyn Hatfield last week as part of the county's #SelfIsolationSupportDay.
The aim of the day was to check on people's health and wellbeing while they are self-isolating, and to make sure they are aware of the support available through HertsHelp.
