Level 2 Award in Nutrition for Health - (accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health)

This qualification is accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health and is run by Officers from Welwyn Hatfield Council's Public Health & Protection team.

The course covers the key role of nutrition in health and wellbeing.The objective is to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the relationship between diet and health and wellbeing, as well as the role of food labelling and other factors in food choices.

The course will equip learners with an awareness of the importance of healthy eating and the need to provide special diets/foods for specific clients.

The qualification is useful for those who wish to enhance their existing knowledge of human nutrition. It is also ideal for individuals who are in the catering, hospitality, care or leisure industries who need an understanding of what constitutes nutritious and healthy meals. In the health sector, it would be relevant for health trainers, other health professionals and staff in a range of public services who need a good knowledge of human nutrition. HENRY at Beezee Bodies is an 8 week Programme for your little ones (0-5 years) to create healthy habits around issues such as fussy eating.

The fun 8 week programme provides healthy starts for your little ones (0-5 years). Beezee Bodies support you to create long-term healthy habits for your family, discussing topics such as nutrition, emotional wellbeing, parenting skills and getting more active.

Each session lasts for 2 hours, and includes some family time where they play games, and some parent time, where healthy lifestyle topics are discussed.

The Cooking Academy

The Cookery Academy based in Rickmansworth are now offering virtual cookery classes. The classes will last around 1.5 hours and will usually consist of learning 2 dishes, to make up a delicious meal. During the class they will explain all the usual hints, tips, cooking tricks and kitchen hacks to help you get the best flavours and save time and ultimately learn to cook exciting new recipes with confidence.
